Writing retreat at Voss: registration open!

Welcome to the Stip-HF writing retreat at Voss!

Stip-HF wants to invite you to a writing retreat at Fleischers Hotel from 1^st – 2^nd December! The writing retreat is open for all PhDs at the Faculty of Humanities.

We intend to create space and time for focused, individual work in a group setting structured by a schedule, but we also think this would be an excellent opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with each other.

A writing retreat should make you feel detached from your usual setting. Use the retreat to escape from your daily routine, enjoy good food and drinks, get some fresh Voss air, and connect with your colleagues.

Practical information
For this writing retreat, you must pay with your project money (“driftsmidler”), both for the stay and travel costs. You will pay when leaving the hotel. The cost is ca. 2 500 NOK per person. This includes:

• Your stay at the hotel (single room)
• Lunch on 1^st and 2^nd December
• Dinner 1^st December
• Coffee/tea and snacks during the writing sessions

Travel expenses are additional, and amounts to ca. 250 each way.

We will travel from Bergen to Voss and back by train. We will depart from Bergen in the morning of 1^st December, and depart from Voss after work 2^nd December. All participants who sign up will receive a detailed plan of the retreat two weeks in advance.

(NB: If you have registered but cannot attend, please give us a note before November 17^th. If you provide late notice, you may have to pay for the stay even though you cannot attend).
